Vonore TN: Vanessa Wolfe: Stuck in Vonore

American Idol auditions are fun to watch and people have different reasons why they love it.  For one, auditions gave us so much to laugh about, not because we are making fun of the people who auditions for the biggest show of its kind in the US but because it’s fun to laugh.  Then, there are also people who stand out and we want to root for them from the start.

Such is the case for many people when it comes to Vanessa Wolfe.  This free spirit came unprepared according to Simon himself but that did not stop Wolfe from winning over the judges and many viewers as well.  If you are on television and you tell America or the world for that matter that your dress came from the Dollar Store, you would surely earn the respect of many a viewer.

But that’s not the only thing to love about the Vonore, TN native, or as she puts it “stuck in Vonore”.  She’s got a voice fit for country music and that’s one thing Simon and the rest of the judges like about her.  She is a breath of fresh air in a crowd full of people pleasers.  Vanessa came out there as herself, telling the people that that’s who she is.

Need more sound bites from Ms. Wolfe?  Well, she told Simon that if she weren’t wearing a dress, she would have planted a back-flip right then and there.  Or how about this: When she raved after her number saying “I’m going to Hollywood and I’m going to get on an air-o-plane and I’m going to eat peanuts on the air-o-plane.”

The new season of Idol is heating up right in front of America’s eyes with Vanessa in the mix.  On the flip side, we have people like Andrew American Idol wannabe who showed irritation because he has to wait to perform.  He got the boot.  People like that would make viewers switch to 411 The Show Atlanta in a heartbeat.
