Andrew Koenig Body Found at Vancouver

After missing for almost two weeks, Andrew Koenig was found lifeless in Stanley Park, which is located at Vancouver. His friends and family was already having problem in searching for his whereabouts since they can’t find him in places that they thought he would hang around. He has been missing since February 14, 2010 but his family was even more worried when he missed his flight going back to United States last February 16.

According to Koenig’s parents, they notice that he has been depressed before he disappeared. They receive a letter from their son that indicates his depression. It was the time when they call for the police attention and ask for their help to search for their son. On February 25, 2010, he was finally found but he is already dead. His body lies in a wooded area in Stanley Park, which is said to be his favorite spot during the time when he was still living in Vancouver.

In the recent press conference his father, Walter Koenig, confirmed the death of his son and said that he committed suicide. While making his statement, Walter was crying and feeling sorry to what happened to his son. He even uttered that Andrew was a good guy especially a good son which is why his family can’t believe that he committed suicide.

Andrew had a colorful career in the entertainment industry. Aside from being a good actor, he is also a writer, editor, and a film director. He is one of the stars of “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine” wherein he plays the role of Tumak. He also played “The Joker” in one of the Batman series entitled “Batman: Dead End.” He also stars in some TV shows such as “21 Jump Street” and “Growing Pains.”

He will be an addition to the list of celebrities who died because of suicide. He will surely be missed not only by his family and friends but also by his fans.
