CR Johnson Died in an Accident

At the age of 26, the professional skier CR Johnson died because of an accident that he went through when he was doing some skiing at the Squaw Valley, California. According to the investigation, the cause of his death was when he accidentally fell into the ground and hit his head into a rock. Though the Ski Patrol was just within the area, they were not able to save him because of the heavy smashed that he acquire from the fall.

Johnson was born in October 8, 1983 and earned respect from his fellow skiers because of his achievements in skiing. He became the first skier to do a 360 degree spins, which was witnessed during his performance at the mountains of Squaw Valley, California. In 2002, he won his very first US open awards defeating Tanner Hall. Aside from winning a gold medal in US open, he also won bronze medals in the X Games and was 2nd in Squaw Valley Spring Jam.

Before the incident, Johnson already experienced an accident that could also have ended his life back in 2005. The accident that happened at the Brighton resort located in Utah has resulted for him to be comatose for 10 days. He experienced a brain injury wherein he must learn everything from scratch such as talking, swallowing, and walking. The accident has caused him to learn again how to ski and eventually became one of the best skiers in the world.

He also loves to create more moves than will surpass his ability. He is not afraid to learn more tricks and be able to share it to others. Though he has been involve into different types of crashes he always stand-up and try it again. Many mourn for his death especially his family and his friends who will always consider him as the world’s best skier.
