Bruco Strong Eagle Eastwood Suspect for Deer Creek Shootout

Bruco Strong Eagle Eastwood, the main suspect for the shootout that happened last Tuesday, February 23, 2010, near the Deer Creek Middle School has already been apprehended by the local police in Littleton Colorado. The shootout resulted for two wounded middle school students wherein both were immediately brought to the nearest hospital. Matt Thieu and Reagan Webber were the students who were wounded during the incident.

According to the reports, Matt was seriously wounded which is why he was immediately given surgery since he is on a critical condition. On the other hand, Reagan only suffered minor injury because after her surgery she was already released. According to the witness, the gunman went over a group of students and asked them if they went to Deer Creek when the two students answered he shot them. Fortunately, the two did not suffered life-threatening injuries and they still had the time to run for their lives and hide from the gunman. Thieu’s wound was on his calf and Webber was shot in her forearm. David Benke, who was around the area of the incident grab the rifle from Bruco and stopped him from shooting.

Bruco’s father is in grief, feeling sorry for what his son has done. Base from his statement, his son already have problems. He always caught his son talking to himself and was acting so strange for a couple of months. Bruco also yells on their refrigerator complaining that the foods are too loud and that they are very noisy. Some also witness him going out of their house just to buy cigarettes on a gasoline station but won’t fully pay for it. Although War Eagle Eastwood knows about his son’s problem, he never thought that he will hurt someone.

As the investigation goes, the police found out that Bruco was a former student of Deer Creek. Bruco will be charged with attempted murder if proven guilty.
