The new series of Survivor entitled “Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains” that aired its first episode on February 11, 2010 has began. The 20th season of the Survivor runs its TV premier for 2-hours wherein during the telecast it introduced the cast of this year’s special season. The casting of the Heroes vs. Villains was done simultaneously with the Survivor: Sumoa season and it was shot eventually after it has ended.

The Heroes vs. Villains features 20 former survivors, which were divided into two to form a team called the heroes and the villains. The members of the Heroes team are composed of survivors who are known for their integrity while the Villains are known for their deception. This special edition of the Survivor is part of their 10th year anniversary, which was film in Pacific Island.

Included to the casting is the Rob Mariano or popularly known as Boston Robin. Aside from being part of Survivor, he also became part of the reality show “The Amazing Race.” He and his wife Amber competed on the 7th season of Amazing Race in which they finished that race as runner-ups.

Rob’s participation on the “Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains” is now his third time joining the reality show. He first joins the show during the 4th season entitled Survivor: Marquesas and became part of the Survivor: All-Stars. Though he has not won from any of these seasons he still determined to join the 20th season hoping that he will win this time. However, it seems that he will again lose his chance of winning since in the preview of the second episode he was being attended by the medics after he has fall on the ground.

There are no clues yet on what really happened to Rob but many are wondering if he will have the strength to go on with the challenges. We can only hope for the better but now all we can do is to wait for the second episode and see what really happened.
