Farouk Shami Enters Politics

The popular businessman Farouk Shami will move into a more challenging level of his life. He decided to enter the politics and run as a Texas Governor on the coming gubernatorial election dated on November 2, 2010. He will be running as a Democrat and will be competing against Alma Ludivina Aguado, Bill Dear, Felix Alvarado, Clement E. Glenn, Bill White, and Star Locke. His road on being the future Texas Governor will not be easy since all these candidates have the capacity to win and lead Texas.

Shami has hired Joel Coon, as his campaign manager, Dan McClung and Robert Jara, as his general consultants, Ben Tulchin, his pollster, and Tad Devine as media specialist. They are known to have the best experience when it comes to campaigning. They are the one who be responsible in making Shami’s run to become the new Texas governor a successful one.

Before becoming a well-known entrepreneur, he works as a hair stylist until he established his own salon in Louisiana. His hard work paid off and soon he founded the Farouk System, which helped a lot of individuals in Texas. His company is considered as one of the biggest company in Texas because it has hired not less than 1,200 employees.

Aside from his success in the business world, he also invented products that will help the environment. His ammonia-free hair color has been notable not only in Texas but also around the world. By opening branches of Farouk System, he has helped a lot of individuals to have a job.

In his campaign to become the next governor of Texas will be one of the challenges that he must face. After he has announced his willingness to run as a governor, there have been doubts if he has the capability to run Texas since politics is very much different from the business world.
