Seantrel Henderson Announcement Playing for USC
Seantrel Henderson already made his decision and finally announces the name of the team where he will be playing. He chooses to play for the University of Southern California team instead playing for the Ohio State University. He plays for the position of offensive tackle of the Cretin-Derham Hall High School football team wherein he was one of the major factors of the success of the team. They won the 5A state championship in 2009 and because of Henderson’s contribution on this success he was recognized by the Associated Press as Minnesota Player of the Year.
His commitment to play for the USC team has made the team even more powerful and a big lost for the Ohio State since he is known to be one of the greatest offensive lineman from his class. His size and speed are just few of the reason why he was named as the number 1 player of the Scout.com wherein he defeated 300 players. He is also known as the number 2 player on Rival.com’s top 100.
His presence on the field and the way he play during a game can be compared to the professional football players such as Orlando Pace and Jonathan Ogden. However, aside from being a football player he also has a potential to become a basketball player but Henderson’s passion towards the game of football was always been his priority. Playing basketball when he is not playing or practicing football is his way to make his feet and movement quicker.
The decision of playing for the USC team was tough since there are other teams who offered him great opportunities but since he feel that USC will be the best for him he chooses it over the others. His announcement was done on the show CBS College Sports, which is hosted by Tom Lemming.
