Andrew Garcia wowed the judges in his audition in American Idol Season 9 as he sang his version of Maroon 5’s Sunday Morning.

Garcia remained calm in while waiting because he is focused on the bigger picture. As a dad, he has more reason to do what he really is passionate about and appreciate what he has. He joined American Idol because his parents are hoping for a better life for him. They went out of gang groups so that Andrew would have a better future. For Andrew, he wants his son to have everything or give him more than what he has.

Simon believes Garcia is a genuinely good singer. The judges were all impressed. Kara said the he knew what to emphasize and she liked it. Randy thinks he has mad vocals and could sing anything. Guest judge Katy Perry said Andrew gave her chills. He got 4 yes from the judges.

It is rumored that the leaked American Idol finalists includes Andrew Garcia as one of the finalists. He also sings vocals for the band The Adrian William project and created a buzz in the internet as his supporters found out his American Idol debut.
